On July 30, 2012, Senate Resolution 533 designating October 2012 as National Work & Family Month was passed by unanimous consent in the U.S. Senate. S. Res. 533 is a bipartisan resolution led by Sens. Jeff Merkley and Mike Crapo and cosponsored by Sens. Daniel Akaka, Richard Blumenthal, Robert Casey, Sherrod Brown, Herb Kohl and Patty Murray.
