RSM McGladrey Inc. Work & Family Month Celebration
To celebrate National Work and Family Month, RSM McGladrey has instituted WorkLife Month with such activities as a wellness walk, success stories for flexible work options, yoga classes, lunch 'n' learn sessions, a Biggest Loser challenge and more. In addition, Webinars were offered on work-life effectiveness not only to employees, but to family members and friends at a time that would be convenient for all.
“During WorkLife month, we incorporate wellness and flexibility. Many of the monthly webinars in general focus on wellness,” said Amanda Kronenwetter, PHR, Talent Management at RSM McGladrey. “Wellness is a large part of creating a healthy lifestyle to have a better experience in all aspects of life.”
Now in its fourth year, the work-life efforts and culture of flexibility at RSM McGladrey have permeated through the entire company, starting at the top.
“We constantly communicate our work-life commitment, making it visible and showing the benefits and success stories,” Kronenwetter said. “It's important to not only say we're committed, but to also show that we are committed. Our president works remotely, and he actively advocates the use of flexibility. We believe that with creativity and openness, flexibility can work for all employees.”
