Application for Work-Life Innovation Awards Now Available

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. - The Alliance for Work-Life Progress® (AWLP) announces a call for applications for its 2005 Work-Life Innovative Excellence Award. The awards will be presented, Feb. 9-11, 2005 at the 10th annual AWLP conference in Orlando, Fla.

As the highest honor offered by AWLP, the Work-Life Innovative Excellence Award was created to showcase programs that demonstrate excellence in enhancing and promoting work-life effectiveness. Past winners have exemplified forward-thinking organizations that look beyond their own cultural, demographic and organizational boundaries to continue their work-life efforts.

AWLP is looking for innovative programs that have been created and implemented to advance the work-life agenda. The following national and international organizations will be considered: corporations, government organizations, academic institutions, labor organizations, work-life vendors, consultants, combination vendor/organization, non-profits and community based organizations.

The award application is now available at http://www.awlp.org/events/awards.htm. If you have questions about the award or application process, please contact Charlotte Carpentier at 800/874-9383. The application deadline is Oct. 8, 2004.
