AWLP 2011 National Work-Life Summit
Ensuring Work-Life Progress: Celebrating the Past and Moving into the Future

February 8-10, 2011

Welcome to the first work-life “unconference!”  This historic gathering of the work-life community will surprise you from the moment you arrive at the JW Marriott in New Orleans.  It is designed to be a highly interactive (no, we really mean it!) get-together where all participants (established, emerging and new work-life leaders) are engaged in stimulating, thought-provoking discussion about the key issues and engulfing trends we are experiencing in our organizations, our lives and our field at large.  Together, we will take personal and collective responsibility for developing meaningful and relevant solutions; sharing tools (existing, in process and must-haves to be developed) and resources; and finding new avenues for collaborative action.  Taking inspiration from the 1994 National Work and Family Summit that spawned AWLP and a number of other significant developments that have driven work-life to its current incarnation, we intend to rekindle the kind of momentum that will propel us forward into an even more productive and exciting future.

5. This is a relatively small, invitation-only event, and you are lucky enough to have been invited.
4. You have figured out that “SME and Me” is our shorthand for something akin to those Insight Teams we experimented with at the last stand-alone AWLP conference in Phoenix, and you are determined not to miss out this time.
3. You are looking forward to taking your place on the Work-Life Living History Timeline.
2. You are intrigued by the opportunity to participate in Imaginariums, Rejuvenation Stations, rapid prototyping, appreciative inquiry, and be encouraged to get up and move around, stretch, sketch, exercise or play with toys or clay whenever the mood strikes you.
1. You have a lot to contribute and even more to learn.  You know this will be a lesser event without you.

Please exert the leadership you are known for and register now to ensure your participation at this unique event.
